Over the years, I've found that all groups have the same basic attributes - purpose, people, activity, and results. They also have the same dilemma – too much email, voicemail, documents, and information in too many disconnected places for the many people who need to know what is going on. If they have a process, it's usually broken.
They all lack a simple means to capture current information, communicate needs and status, and engage the audience in a single context. This leads to constant surprises, frustration, and undesirable results.
